Impressive trailer for McGregor’s sci-fi web series A Thousand Suns

“In the vastness of space and time, many tales converge, under a thousand sunlights.” There is an exciting original sci-fi series starting next week. a thousand suns is the latest creation of the filmmaker known as “McGregor”, produced by the company called Blackmilk Studio. Not much is known about the plot and various stories yet. There will be a total of six anthology episodes to watch: Episode 1 – ice; Episode 2 – red; Episode 3 – speech; Episode 4 – deal; Episode 5 – Bug; & Episode 6 – land tomorrow. McGregor says his team of filmmakers, including Ruairi Robinson and Tyson Wade Johnston, worked “to create films that are gateways to our hopes, our dreams… and our nightmares.” It looks like a slick live-action anthology series Love Death + Robots which tells various science fiction stories. I’m really digging the footage in this teaser and will be watching it all when it comes out on April 15th. Enjoy the trailer below.

Here’s the only synopsis so far: Introducing A Thousand Suns, an exciting sci-fi anthology series that explores humanity’s visions of the past, present, and future. a thousand suns is an anthology series that goes online. Created by McGregor, also known as a film director Miguel de Olaso (You can see more of his work on his official site). It is produced by a Los Angeles production company Blackmilk Studio – Visit their official site for more. “We like simple things. Fast cars. Spaceships. Japanese whiskey. And big explosions! We figured if we like these things, maybe others will too.” McGregor has also appeared in other science fiction films Similo and Los Angeles 1991. The series is directed by a group of filmmakers Ruairi Robinson (Last Days on Mars, Corporate Monster), Tyson Wade Johnston (Lunar, simplification), Tim Hyten (Angels and Fire, Dispatch, Snakebite), Philip Gelatt (Bloody house, they remain, backbone of the night).
