In a chat with Dainik Bhaskar, Sandeep addressed her criticism without naming Kiran and brought up Aamir Khan’s film Dil, in which his character accused Madhuri Dixit’s character of rape. He threatened her and eventually brought up the topic of the two falling in love.

Sandeep said, “Some people don’t understand what I’m talking about.” An assistant director showed me an article about the superstar’s second ex-wife, and it included stories from Baahubali and Kabir Singh. It was written that she was promoting misogyny and stalking. I don’t think she understands the difference between stalking and approaching.”

Later, Sandeep Reddy Vanga shot Aamir Khan’s 1990 film Dil and said, “I said to that woman, I want you to go to Aamir Khan and ask him about the song ‘Khambe jaisi khadi hai’, what was that?” Then come back to me. In November, Kiran Rao told the Times of India that the Baahubali lead character had “stripped her (the lead heroine) of her agency”. She reportedly named Kabir Singh as one of the films that glorifies stalking as a “way to woo women”.

In Dil, Madhuri Dixit’s character accuses Aamir Khan’s character of raping her. He then threatened to rape his girlfriend, but released her. Despite Dill being a huge hit at the time, the scene has been considered highly problematic for years.

The film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has grossed over Rs 900 crore at the worldwide box office. The film recently started streaming on Netflix.
