Quentin Tarantino looks up to Brad Pitt in The Movie Critic
In a potential movie reunion, Hollywood star Brad Pitt is currently in discussions to star as legendary director Quentin Tarantino in the much-anticipated tenth and allegedly final project, ‘The Movie Critic’. The intricacies of the deal remain shrouded in mystery, leaving fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation.
While details about The Movie Critic are yet to be revealed, there are speculations that the film is set against the backdrop of 1970s Southern California. Industry whispers suggest that the narrative draws inspiration from the remarkable career of Pauline Kael, the late New Yorker writer who left an indelible mark as one of the most influential film critics of her time.

During a chat at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2023, Tarantino skillfully dodged inquiries about the upcoming project, teasing the audience with a playful answer, “I can’t reveal the details until you see the film.” I’m tempted to do some character monologues right now, but I’ll resist. Maybe if there were fewer video cameras. You’ll just have to wait and see.”
This potential collaboration marks a reunion of Pitt and Tarantino, who previously collaborated on 2009’s critically acclaimed Inglourious Basterds and 2019’s box office hit Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The latter earned Pitt an award Oscar for his stellar film. Performing in the Best Supporting Actor category and collecting $377 million globally at the box office.
