For many guests visiting Disney parks, planning a vacation takes a lot of time and money. As the prices of everything from tickets to hotel accommodations to travel in general continue to rise, every minute counts when visiting Disneyland or Walt Disney World.

Unfortunately, the parks experience attraction downtime and construction throughout the year, so at any given time, guests can experience a less-than-perfect Disney trip. The parks also close early for special Cast Appreciation events, but nothing is more regular and frustrating than going to Disneyland or Walt Disney World between August and January. holiday party.

Walt Disney World hosts Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) at Magic Kingdom on select nights from August through the first weekend of November. This event is a separately ticketed event. This means guests will need to purchase a party ticket in addition to their daytime ticket. Tickets for MNSSHP will be sold for $150 to $200 in addition to regular daytime tickets. Unfortunately, this means that if you want to go to the parks during the day and party at night, you’re spending about $300 per person for a day at Disney.

In a now-deleted thread on Reddit, a guest addressed the issue and asked how cast members could ensure that guests were escorted out of Magic Kingdom for the party. They also joked that they were going to try to sneak into the park and ask if they were going to get kicked out. Other commenters quickly took issue with his Redditor, likely leading to the post being removed by moderators.

Cast members will issue wristbands to attendees of MNSSHP (and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party). The colors will change randomly each day to prevent guests from trying to use their old wristbands to rejoin the event. Announcements will be made throughout the park to let daytime guests know that their time to exit the park is approaching, Cast Members will station security around the park, and all guests after the start time will wear wristbands.
