Record-breaking tracks ‘Pasoori’ and Sarmad Khoosat’s ‘Kamli’ win big at star-studded LSA
High price — The fashion game was at an all-time high on the red carpet. From sarees, pantsuits, gowns, skirts to traditional attire, celebs enjoyed the night in fashion. Men in suits, boots, and tuxedos complimented women as well. Red and white were popular colors on the carpet.
It was certainly a ceremony attended by many people. You could see all the famous faces from TV, movies, dramas, fashion, photography, etc.
The tribute to legendary actress, producer, director and host Reema Khan was well-deserved. Saba Qamar performed all the hit songs from Reema Khan’s films, which was truly befitting the actress, and later, as everyone cheered, Reema joined Saba Qamar on stage and performed together.
A special mention was given to the actors, make-up artists and designers who passed away last year and this year, who were remembered with sadness and pride.
It was a night without controversy, with no drama or meme-worthy events.
The catering and photo booth on the red carpet were impeccable, ensuring all attendees enjoyed a luxurious ceremony experience.
The entire cast of “Joyland” attended the ceremony. The film was initially banned in Pakistan, and faced its own set of issues and problems in its home country as well. We had the great honor of meeting Saim Sadiq, whose internationally acclaimed film earned her four nominations, at her LSA.
One thing to note was that everyone had to follow the same procedure to enter the premises. There was no special/secret entry for celebrities and everyone could be seen queuing to get into the hall.
The strings of Faisal Kapadia, Shay Gill, and Young Stanners performed wonderfully, drawing loud applause from the audience.
low – Awards shows should start early, or at least at the time listed on the invitation. What was said to start at 6pm actually started at 10pm.
Although he said it was a well-attended event, many notable figures were also absent. Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Sajal Ali, Maula Hokain, Javed Sheikh, Shira Yousaf, Shaan Shahid, Humaima Malik, Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and many more. It would have been great to meet you.
Scripts need to be more interesting, more engaging, and meaningful. Toward the end, the only person laughing at the joke was the host himself.
There are several categories that LSA misses each year. These include DOPs and fashion journalists. Everyone involved deserves to be honored.
