Mia Goth goes Hollywood in the first trailer for Ti West’s MaXXXine – we’re obsessed with the movies

A24 has released the new trailer for writer-director Ti West’s MaXXXine, the third installment in the X-film series.

In 1980s Hollywood, porn star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the Hollywood star, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

Starring Mia Goth, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, with Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon, watch the first look now.

Writer-director Ti West (House of Satan) followed up his hit film, X, with PEARL in 2022. Returning to the unforgettable character of Pearl, the film was about the obsessive old voyeur who relentlessly stalked Mia Goth’s character Maxine Minx across the globe. The Texas ranch that Pearl could never escape from. Playing Maxine/Pearl in Mia Goth’s debut film in a dual role, she explores the dualities and desires between two very different women – a young porn actress in 1979 who dreams of stardom and an octogenarian born at the turn of the last century who longs for stardom.
