Kiku Sharda will be seen in Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Actor and comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to return to the small screen with a comedy show titled The Great Indian Kapil Show. The show also stars Sunil Grover, Krishna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda and Archana Puran Singh. In a recent interaction with the cast, Kapil praised Kiku for his improvisation and in the same breath also joked about the actor going to jail.
Kapil said:Kiku bhai ke saath comedy circus and time se hum jaante hai aur bade pyaare hai. Inke paas jo script hoti hai, wo to hai hai lekin ye listen apna kuch na kuch aisa magic daal dete hai, aur itna beautiful karte hai ki muje nahi lagta ki scene pe kabi koi hurt hua ho ya naraz hua ho. (I’ve known the lovely Kiku from his Comedy Circus days. Whatever script he takes, he does it, but also adds his magic. No one on stage has been hurt or angry because of him).

He added, “Haan ek baar jail gay te par aap inki power dekhie. Jiski wajeh se jail gaye, baad mein inhone unko bhej diya (Once he went to jail, but look at his power, he finally sent that person to jail).
Kapil Sharma immediately bit his tongue after the joke and demanded that the part be removed from the footage. In 2016, Kiku Sharda was arrested for impersonating Dera Sacha Sauda chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show.
Kapil also spoke highly of Krushna Abhishek, who has been a part of his show for a long time.
The comedian said, “Krushna was an old friend of mine. He has madness. Sometimes the script is good and sometimes not so good, but whatever script Krushna gets, he has worked hard and added his own craziness to it. Sometimes he comes on stage and does things that we don’t even know about.”
The Great Indian Kapil Show premieres this Saturday on Netflix.
