Abbott Elementary Fans got a pleasant surprise when they spotted the Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper in the opening of the show. Cooper, who starred in and directed the Netflix biopic Maestro, lost in the leading actor and producer category at the 96th Academy Awards. Cooper showed he was a good sport about the whole Oscars campaign as he joked Abbott Elementary Starring in a new episode. Check out some clips below!

The sixth episode of the comedy series reached its desired location after the ceremony, and the second episode is scheduled to premiere later this week, on March 13. Cooper also grew up in Philadelphia, where Abbott Elementary is installed. In the show’s opening scene, teacher Melissa (Lisa Ann Walter) has a student bring Cooper into the classroom for a show-and-tell, causing an uproar.
