How to Train Your Dragon Live-Action starring Ruth Codd
Actor-turned-TikTokker Ruth Cudd has joined the cast of Universal’s live-action adaptation of DreamWorks Animation. How to train your dragon.
Dean DeBlois, who co-wrote and directed the revered original trilogy, is at the helm of the new film, returning as writer, director and executive producer. the Dragon Filming is currently taking place in Ireland.
Code joins Mason Teams (Black phone(And Nico Parker)The last of us), who play Hiccup and Astrid, young Viking teens who befriend dragons.
Gerard Butler, who voiced Stoick the Vast, leader of the Viking clan and father of Hiccup, reprises his role in the flesh. Nick Frost plays Gobber the Belch.
The cast also includes Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Gabrielle Howell (sleeping), Bronwyn James (Air masters(And Harry Trevaldwyn)Ten percent).
Cod has been chosen as a phlegm, a member of the Viking village. In the original animated film, the character was voiced by Ashley Jensen.
Producers are Marc Platt, through Marc Platt’s global production company, as well as that company’s president, Adam Siegel. Vice President of Production Lexi Barta is overseeing the film on behalf of the studio.
Universal has set a release date for this feature as June 13, 2025.
Cudd became known for her personal videos detailing her life with an amputated leg as well as anything that came to her mind. She gained a large following and caught the attention of the directors of the Netflix horror show Midnight Club, which was led by horror film and television maker Mike Flanagan. She was impressed by her acting debut, and Flanagan cast her for it The fall of the House of Usher series.
