Trade analysts weigh opinions on Section 370 and crack box office returns
Trade experts interviewed by Outlook India say there is a lot of buzz surrounding both films, but opinions differ on their potential box office success.
Producer and film business expert Girish Johar said Section 370 has a better buzz compared to crack. He pointed out that the former could perform even better, especially if they get further promotions from the government. Dzhokhar also highlighted the positive feedback on the trailers of both films, indicating that they are expected to be box office successes.
Dzhokhar predicted that both films could open in the $200,000 to $300,000 range. He emphasized that box office revenue could increase if the film receives a good audience response, especially on weekends.
