The title of this movie was so impressive that I watched the trailer (once), bought a ticket (twice), and obviously watched the entire movie. Still, I had to search on Google before typing the name of this photo. This page! teri burton main aisa urja ziyaof course, is the famous song by Canadian-born desi singer Raghav Mathur.
However, for movie titles, abbreviations are chosen to suit the sentence size (TBMAUJ) The need is probably related to the long-standing practice of naming Bollywood romances similarly after popular lyrics. This is a movie about the love between humans and robots. So, have the filmmakers nailed the right picture for Shaadi Sangeet, the song-and-dance Bollywood song and dance with artificial intelligence (AI) as its central theme? Yes. That’s why I got excited about it in the first place. The genre has an all-encompassing fun and fluffy feel to ensure a basic footprint.
This is completely different from the only similar digi content I have watched so far, the Disney+ Hotstar series, OK Computer (2021). This felt too complicated and pretentious beyond a certain point. As a flip side to the tone/genre of this film, it is OTT, packed with caricatures of typical Delhi and Punjabi families and other characters, and deliberately veers towards outright stupidity, and the rest of the film It’s enough to make you want to replace other people. Also equipped with AI!
Only one character here is a robot.it is Kriti SanonLong neck, sharp eyes/gaze, high cheekbones, management is in charge. It has completely robotic performance and seems to have no problem making phone calls. Let me just say this once: this is a perfect complement to the lead actor. A perfectly brilliant and attractive man (Shahid Kapoor) falls in love with this AI disguised as a sexy woman. They connect almost instantly when they meet. It’s hard to imagine exactly what they must have done in bed together.
Do robots have sex too? As we speak, it is possible to simulate sexual experiences with AI through virtual reality headsets, although that is not what is happening here. That said, although the film is set in his sci-fi space, humans appear as holograms. Robots with great automation/machine learning are replicating the human world. In fact, we are already living in what was once his science fiction of cinema.
Most of what’s happening here is technically possible. So what is the final frontier for AI? What else is there to make humans powerless? A common assumption about AI has also been that it will first learn replicable tasks. I feel like the opposite has turned out to be true. Lately, AI seems to be increasingly attacking artistic endeavors, such as design, architecture, painting, and even literature.
What do you think of Sanon’s main character Shifra in this photo? Well, so far, not much. This character does not understand jokes, sarcasm and sarcasm. However, there are some points that many people do not understand. She can feel emotions intermittently. She kisses passionately. Her protagonist falls in love with her so mysteriously that he actually wants to be with her!
How do you explain that? Well, if real companionship trumps temporary sex, perhaps human-robot compatibility could be the future of relationships. Probably not in our lifetime, but who knows? Haven’t we already had a long relationship with our mobile phones?
Still, the machine, Sifra, only has a motherboard. And you can always gamify it as long as it doesn’t become fraudulent/defective in itself. This would violate Isaac Asimov’s first law of robots. In other words, they must not harm humans. Well, you can do it! Did these related thoughts cross my mind while watching TBMAUJ? If at all, only mildly. The filmmakers are so busy attempting a comedy that barely gets the joke that we don’t really think about the purpose or the nature of the point.
That’s not to say it should have been as deeply meditative as Spike Jonze’s visionary masterpiece Her (2013). That’s the call they received. But just a few stops and a powerful moment where the penny drops can salvage a script far more obsessed with commercially safe femme drama – unless the golden oldies make a comeback. . Dharmendra (credited with Singh Duru), Dimple Kapadia – before fatigue finally set in.
You know, I loved the idea behind this romantic comedy. As time goes on, I think we’ll see more resonant works that reflect this theme. This doesn’t necessarily mean the ending of the film confidently declares, “To be continued…”
“Okay” “Anything” “Good” “Super” “Excellent”
