Yes, you read that correctly! In an interview with Pinkvilla, Siddharth revealed that when he was watching Agneepath in the theater, he was shocked by the film. He revealed that the director is a big fan of Karan Malhotra and Hrithik Roshan.
Reminiscing one of the scenes in Agneepath, when Hrithik stabs a guy on the beach and says, Vijay Dinath Chauhan, he thinks, “Oh my god!” It’s well crafted and has a great performance. The filmmaker said that if he gets a chance to work with Hrithik Roshan, he will just leave it to the universe.
Elaborating further, Siddharth added that one day he was at an eye clinic to get eye drops to dilate the pupils and was waiting at the clinic with his wife Mamta. She further added that the director’s wife used to read magazines that had Hrithik Roshan on the cover. She immediately asked Siddharth, “Why didn’t you offer Hrithik Knight and Day?”
The Fighter director further revealed that he has a lot in store. He said his wife picked up the phone and told Hrithik, “’Hello, I’m Siddharth Anand. I have a movie I’d like to offer you. It’s a remake of ‘Night and Day.’ Call Mujae.”
Siddharth Anand also revealed that Hrithik Roshan called him and asked him where he was. He further told the director to come to the house as soon as possible.
On the other hand, Siddharth Anand’s “Fighter” is showing signs of doing well, having crossed the 100-crore mark at the domestic box office.
