Humorously Yours Season 3 Review: Plot
Vipul and his supportive, loving and beautiful wife Kavya settle into their luxurious home ‘Safno Ka Sheher’ Mumbai. Their dream abode obviously comes at a huge (quite literally) price tag. Now, the couple is not only trying to live comfortably, but also aim for a few luxuries while still paying the hefty home loan installments.
Amidst India’s burgeoning stand-up comedy scene with established artists, Vipul is struggling to find his niche. Our hero, despite being funny, is quite self-confident. But his wife Kavya, eccentric friend Bushi (played by the ever-reliable Abhishek) and junior college manager Lamba are by his side to give him the push he needs, on several occasions.
An exciting opportunity is knocking at the door of Vipul’s new home – the US tour. It will finally give glory to the artist, ‘Izzat, Shakhrat and Daulat.’
Humorously Yours Season 3 Review: Performances
Vipul Goyal plays himself in the show, so we cannot comment on his acting prowess in the semi-autobiographical drama. He is an aspiring stand-up artist who is doing everything he can to make it bigger. Some scenes may fail to evoke the desired emotions, but when he takes to the stage to entertain with his humor, he undoubtedly shines. Sometimes even with weak jokes.
Rashika as Kavya is a breath of fresh air as always. She perfectly blends herself into a strong, independent woman who juggles work life and home life. In some episodes, you can’t help but feel bad for Kavya when she gets frustrated with the bare minimum and her husband’s lack of effort. After the first two seasons, many assumed that Rasika was indeed Goyal’s wife in real life. And it has a lot to do with his continuous actions. However, the weak script sometimes fails her character Kavya.
Abhishek as Bush is funny, boring and watchable. This is one of our favorite characters on the show. Even the dullest moments feel alive with him on screen.
Manjer Lamba and guest appearances by Anubhav Singh Bassi, Johnny Lever and Harsh Gujral add to the overall appeal of the season.

Overall, Your funnys 3 manages to provoke laughter. Fans of stand-up comedy will find this addition worthwhile, while others may think it’s rather slow paced. We give this season a 3/5 star rating.
