DreamWorks has released the long-awaited trailer for Kung Fu Panda 4. The film will hit theaters on March 8, 2024. The franchise follows the journey of the legendary Dragon Warrior Po, voiced by Jack Black.
Po and his fierce companions return in Kung Fu Panda 4
The saga, which began with Poe’s deliberate ascension as a dragon warrior, unfolds as Poe, led by Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman), joins forces with the Furious Five – Master Crane (David Cross), Master Mantis (Seth Rogen), Master. Monkey (Jackie Chan), Master Tiger (Angelina Jolie) and Master Viper (Lucy Liu) – to protect the Valley of Peace from evil forces.
The trailer offers a glimpse into Poe’s new quest as he attempts to take on the role of spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. However, his journey to inner peace playfully intertwines with his daily struggles, setting the stage for a powerful adversary—a shape-shifting chameleon voiced by Viola Davis. Chameleon vows to use the kung fu skills of past villains for unprecedented power.
In response to the looming threat, Poe organizes a league of “the best crooks and criminals” to confront the Chameleon menace. Po is accompanied on this adventure by the spirited new character Zhen, portrayed by Awkwafina, while the den of thieves is led by Han, portrayed by Oscar winner Ke Hui Kuan.
