Rajkumar Kohli, veteran Bollywood director and father of actor Armaan Kohli, passes away

The last rites of Rajkumar Kohli, who is in his 90s, will be performed later in the evening, confirmed Vijay Grover, a close friend of Arman.

According to reports, Rajkumar Kohli went to take a shower on Friday morning but did not come out of the bathroom for some time.

When the son broke down the door, he found his father lying on the floor. He was then taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Commenting on the death of veteran film director Raj Kumar Kohli, actor Suniel Shetty was quoted by a news agency as saying, “He was a lovely person, a very good-looking producer-director, a very humble person. “He will be missed for the following reasons.” “I know that people loved him. His son Armand is a good friend of mine, so I send my deepest condolences to him and his family.” I am sorry to say that this is a great loss.”

Rajkumar Kohli’s works:

Rajkumar was known for directing several Bollywood films, including the 1966 film Dula Bhatti and the 1970s film Lootera starring Dara Singh.

His other notable films include films with ensemble casts such as Nagin (1976), Jaani Dushman (1979), Badle Ki Aag, Naukar Biwi Ka, and Raaj Tilak (1984). His films frequently featured actors such as Sunil Dutt, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha, and actresses Reena Roy and Anita Raj.

Armaan Kohli made his debut as a lead actor in 1992 with the film Virodhi directed by his father. Again Rajkumar directed his son in ‘Aurad Ke Dushman’ (1993) and ‘Kahal’ (1997). He had also produced Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, which featured Armaan as well as Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar and others.

After a failed career in Bollywood, Armaan shot to fame in 2013 when he appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 7, hosted by Salman Khan. He was one of his Bigg Boss 7 finalists.
