Tiger 3 Collection Day 1: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Spy Universe movie clocked a worldwide collection of Rs 940 crore on its first day of release.
Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 Box Office Collection, Day 1: Tiger 3 has already set several benchmarks at the box office. On Sunday, the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif actioner performed admirably despite the Lakshmi Puja day, which was expected to be slow at the box office as people were busy with Diwali. According to YRF, Tiger 3’s pan-India box office collection reached Rs 5,250 crore with his GBOC. Overseas, the film earned a GBOC of Rs 4,150 crore. The total worldwide collection of this film reaches his Rs 9,400 crore.
Tiger 3’s opening day box office collection is already the highest ever for a Hindi film on the day of Diwali. The current Diwali day-to-date record is Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Rs 1.26 billion on the first day) and Ajay Devgn’s Sardar’s Son (Rs. 9.3 billion on the first day) with a total of Rs 2.2 billion . Two movies that collided in 2012.

Tiger 3 was also Salman Khan’s biggest opening and his previous best performance was Bharat which earned Rs 4.23 crore on the first day of Eid holidays.

However, Tiger 3’s opening did not come close to Shah Rukh Khan’s two openers this year, Pattern (Rs 5,700 crore) and Jawan (Rs 7,500 crore), despite a weak day at the box office. Now, after a record-breaking start, Tiger 3 is all set to enjoy a long Diwali break.
The industry expects the film to gross over Rs 120 crore on Monday and Tuesday, and is hoping for a three-day box office collection of over Rs 165 crore.
Tiger 3, the third film in the highly successful series, also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role and Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist. The action actor is part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe which also features Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War’ and superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pattern’.
