DARBAR: IS JANUARY RAJINIKANTH’S NEW FAVOURITE MOVIE RELEASE MONTH?
RAJINIKANTH plays the role of a supercop named Aaditya Arunasalam. Darbar trailer introduces us to the Commissioner of Mumbai Police – Aaditya Arunchalam who calls himself a villain. Full of swag, thalaivar owns the character and proves again why he is one of the biggest superstars of Indian cinema. This is only the second time the actor will be donning a cop’s role after 27 years, the first being in Pandiyan (1992).
Darbar also stars Nayanthara as Aaditya Arunasalam’s love interest. Other important cast members include Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu, Nivetha Thomas, Dalip Tahil, and others. Darbar’s music has been handled by Anirudh Ravichander. The song Chumma Kizhi sung by Anirudh and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam has already caught the attention of many fans. Their second song Thani Vazhi sung by Yogi B, Anirudh Ravichander, and Shakthisree Gopalan is another groovy track.
