Why did you say yes to Farnashavarir Shaap?

First, I was excited to get a call from Parambrat, with whom I had previously worked as an actor. The fact that he was directing something in the horror genre, which I had never worked on before, was exciting enough for me to say yes. I liked his work as a director in such films Sonar Pahar and The weather is crazy And this series was perfect for me. Also, when he told me that it would also be actor Chiranjeet’s debut web series, it sounded very exciting.

I also got to work with phenomenal actors like Arno Mukherjee and Surangana Banerjee for the first time.

Tell us about your role.

I play Titus, a general practitioner, and I’m like a support system for all the other characters. She has a motherly instinct and tries to save the situation when she feels threatened and makes sure that everything is better. When they visit the mountain and the situation gets out of hand, it is very interesting how he manages to handle the situation and keep everyone calm.

Do you enjoy watching horror content?

In fact, it’s the opposite, I’m afraid of horror movies and TV series. I get angry if I watch any horror content. The last movie I watched was Abnormal activity And I couldn’t stay alone for a month after watching it. I had to move to my aunt’s place and stay there until I got over my fear. So, acting in this particular series gave me a kind of sadistic pleasure because it allowed me to drive other people crazy. (laughs).

Your future projects?

I am shooting for a Hindi web show ZEE5 And there is also a Hindi film which I will start shooting from the end of November.

How will you spend your Diwali?

I will definitely be in Mumbai and attend a party at a friend’s house. We will play poker, which is like a ritual for the last 10 years. I also like to eat a lot during Diwali, but unfortunately I’m on a special diet for the whole month for a project and I can’t eat sweets. So it will be a sweet Diwali for me this time.

Your Diwali fashion?

I will wear something traditional. Since I wear a lot of sarees during Durga Puja, I wear anarkali or angarakh or lehenga with a lot of kundan jewellery.
