Legendary Indian actor Kamal Haasan will be collaborating with iconic filmmaker Mani Ratnam for the first time in 36 years in the much-awaited project ‘KH 234’, now titled ‘Thug Life’. The film is about a character, Rangaraya Sakthivel Nikel, who is deeply immersed in the criminal underworld. In the teaser, Kamal Haasan sports a thrilling avatar while explaining the meaning of Yakuza, a Japanese term synonymous with gangster.
The teaser sets the tone of the film with the southern Tamil Nadu dialect and incongruous dialogues. The film’s setting, whether in the past, the future, or a fantasy world, leaves you wondering. Indeed, this suspense seems to be the essence of “Thug Life.”
It also promises a star-studded cast including Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, Trisha, Abhirami, and Nasser. Additionally, the film, which has cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad, legendary music composer AR Rahman and others on board, is expected to be a big box office hit.

One of the most anticipated releases, this is the third installment in the high-octane Tiger series. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, this film is a part of his vast YRF spy world. Salman Khan plays the role of Tiger, an unwaveringly patriotic spy, while Katrina Kaif plays his wife Zoya, a former ISI agent.
Ranvir Shorey as Gopi Arya and Kumud Mishra as Rakesh Prasad Chaurasia will be returning to the franchise. Additionally, Emraan Hashmi joins the cast as the villain Aatish, who is driven by a relentless quest to destroy Tiger. The film also hints at the interconnectedness of the YRF spy universe, with speculation that Shah Rukh Khan’s character from Pattern may make a cameo appearance.
Tiger 3 is scheduled to be released on November 12, 2023.
Sam Bahadur
Vicky Kaushal will make a triumphant return to the big screen with ‘Sam Bahadur’ directed by Meghna Gulzar. Set in the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan War, the film pays tribute to Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. A true hero who led the Indian army to victory and founded Bangladesh.
‘Sam Bahadur’ is a biographical film depicting the life and career of Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. It celebrates his leadership during the 1971 war and his role in the creation of Bangladesh.
Additionally, the film’s ensemble cast includes Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, and Zeeshan Ayub.
This upcoming movie is all set to release on December 1, 2023.
