‘Rocky’ actor Burt Young dies at 83
LOS ANGELES — Burt Young, best known for his role as Paulie in six “Rocky” movies, has died at the age of 83, his daughter confirmed to the New York Times.
Young (his adopted stage name) had a career with more than 160 film and television credits, many of them as gritty “tough guy” characters. His credits include roles in “Chinatown,” “Last Exit to Brooklyn,” “Once Upon a Time in America,” and shows like “M*A*S*H.” Includes memorable appearances in.
He was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the original film Rocky.

Young was born in New York as a Marine Corps boxer and had a brief professional career with a win-loss record of approximately 17 wins and 1 loss.
His cause of death was not immediately known. He died in Los Angeles on October 8, according to the New York Times. Young is survived by his daughter, grandson, and brother Robert.
