The acting plunges into emotion and complex characters, resulting in shocking performances. But how do you master the art of separating the reels from the real world? That’s where the magic happens. It’s a testament to an actor’s skill that he can immerse himself in his role on set and then forget about it when he gets home. Indraneil Sengupta talks about playing Sooraj in Disney+ Hotstar’s Aarya season 3 and the emotional baggage that came with it.
Speaking of a similar story, Indraneel Sengupta to play the character of Sooraj in Aarya 3 “My character is consumed by his demons. I don’t want to be too dramatic, but as actors, we’ve been acting professionally for quite some time, and we understand that and we’re trying to figure it out. I’ve been equipped and trained enough to vent and let it go crazy without getting bogged down by the emotional baggage that comes with it. That’s part of the job, too, so I don’t have to take it home with me. So my character I wasn’t really bothered by the emotional baggage that people go through.”
