‘The Crown’ final season reveals Prince Harry and Prince William for the first time | Web series
The first image of part 1 of the sixth and final season of “The Crown.” It was released on Netflix. The season will premiere on November 16th, with part two premiering on December 14th.
Season 6 of the royal drama series takes place in the late 1990s, a tumultuous time for the royal family. Part 1 focuses on the romance between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed and their fatal accident.
The season 6 logline reads: “The death of his mother prompts Prince William to return to life at Eton as the royal family must navigate a wave of public opinion.” As the Golden Jubilee approaches, the Queen announces the marriage of Charles and Camilla, and William and Kate. We think about the future of the royal family, the beginning of a new royal fairy tale.”
Season 6 will also depict the growth of Prince William and Prince Harry, with two actors playing younger and older versions of each prince.
Prince William is played by Rufus Campa in Part 1 and Ed McVeigh in Part 2. Prince Harry will be played by Flynn Edwards in Part 1 and Luther Ford in Part 2, with Meg Bellamy playing Kate Middleton.
Elizabeth Debicki returns as Princess Diana.
She said of the role, “I think it’s a really unique challenge as an actor to portray that time period. I really trusted his emotional blueprint that Peter created for us to follow. and I stuck with it because I think it made sense to me emotionally, because obviously it’s devastating and difficult and we never know. Because I can’t.”

Other cast members include Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, and Camilla Parker. – Includes Olivia Williams as Bowles, Bertie Carvel and Salim Do as Tony Blair. Dodi Fayed as Mohamed Al Fayed and Khalid Abdallah.
“The Crown” was created and written by Peter Morgan. Executive producers are Morgan, Suzanne Mackie, Andy Harries, Stephen Daldry, Matthew Byam Shaw, and Robert Fox.
Season 6 will consist of 10 episodes, with Part 1 containing four 1-hour episodes and Part 2 containing 6 episodes.
