BBC Death in Paradise star Josephine Jaubert has revealed the terrifying virus she contracted while filming, which left her bedridden. The star, known for playing Sergeant Florence Cassel in the BBC drama Death in Paradise, responded to concerned fans on social media.

She wrote on Instagram, “Hello! I’m so glad you asked. Actually, I didn’t post for a few weeks. First, I was filming for two weeks. I came back on Thursday. I haven’t been able to post yet. In a recent update, Josephine revealed that a new movie is coming out. “The movie is definitely finished (post-production) and we are patiently waiting for the release date. I can’t wait to discover the character of Sara,” she explained in the caption alongside a snapshot from the set.
