BBC ‘Death in Paradise’ star left ‘bedridden’ due to health battle on set and ‘daily medical treatment’
BBC Death in Paradise star Josephine Jaubert has revealed the terrifying virus she contracted while filming, which left her bedridden. The star, known for playing Sergeant Florence Cassel in the BBC drama Death in Paradise, responded to concerned fans on social media.
She wrote on Instagram, “Hello! I’m so glad you asked. Actually, I didn’t post for a few weeks. First, I was filming for two weeks. I came back on Thursday. I haven’t been able to post yet. No,” he wrote. Please tell us anything about the project. Because for now, I’m sworn to secrecy. Then I got sick. ”
She went on to reveal how she had to fight off the illness while filming, saying: “I got a virus that is transmitted through a mosquito bite and I was down for five days. And everything… Nevertheless, after just one day of forced downtime, I had to continue.” Filming was a huge challenge.

“To be honest, I don’t even know how I did it. I’m better now, but I still feel weak. I’m getting better day by day.” This is what the TV actress said. This comes as she continues to promote her upcoming TV and film projects with her fans on Instagram and social media channels.
In a recent update, Josephine revealed that a new movie is coming out. “The movie is definitely finished (post-production) and we are patiently waiting for the release date. I can’t wait to discover the character of Sara,” she explained in the caption alongside a snapshot from the set.
