mumbai :Beyond the world of films, Ratna Pathak Shah has also left a huge footprint in the theater and television industry. In the near future, the actor will be seen opposite Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanjana Sanghi in Tarun Dudeja’s road movie ‘Dak Dak’.
Meanwhile, Ratna recently spoke about the lack of Bollywood films with an all-female lead cast and blamed it on the lack of creativity on the part of the authors. She added that there were no “real writers” in Bollywood in the 1980s and 1990s. She said this during our chat. “We haven’t had a real writer for a long time. At least in the ’80s and ’90s, many times Hollywood movies were just copies made and passed off as originals. Some of our “most famous movies” were literally copied frame by frame. Unfortunately, we end up spending a lot of time complacent making the same thing over and over again. ”

According to Ratna, the recent OTT boom marks the beginning of a creative shift, with a variety of international movies and TV shows becoming more widely available, especially for younger consumers.
Ratna recently said, “I have ridden a bicycle many times in my dreams.When I saw people riding bicycles, I thought that someday I would ride a bicycle myself, but even at the age of 65,” I didn’t know I had to ride a bike.”
Co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, Ajith Andare, Kevin Vaz and Pranjal Kandiya, Dark Dak will premiere on October 13. While discussing the film, Taapsee had earlier said, We haven’t seen much of it on screen. Duck Duck tells the story of his four women who discover that freedom is never given, but possessed.
