Hinting at a possible career change, the actor added: “This is for someone who has dedicated their life to women’s empowerment films, who may change careers in the next few years, and who wants to dedicate the best years of their lives to something worthwhile. It’s very disappointing🥰🙏.”
In a previous interview with ABP, he said: Kangana spoke about joining politics and how it is a “vulgar ideology”. But the actor said it was a decision made by “the people and people in positions of power.” She added: “I have a very nice job. But the world of politics is difficult. Art is a pure profession. Artists receive the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. And we all know how unforgiving the world of politics has always been. But if I am given the opportunity to serve my country and be selfless, I will definitely take it. If my country needs me, I will be there. I’m here.”
Kangana’s last film Tejas was a huge flop at the box office. According to Saknilk, the film was made on a budget of 60 billion rupees and only 8.05 billion rupees were minted worldwide.
Before Kangana, director Javed Akhtar had expressed how the success of a film like Animal was “dangerous”. Director Akhtar said this at the 9th Ajanta-Ellora International Film Festival held at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Superhit, it’s dangerous,” he said, referring to the scene between Ranbir and Tripti Dimri’s characters in Animal.
