Review: Drinkwallah’s Stuffed Pancake Sandwich at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Among the new products debuting today, Oct. 11, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are stuffed pancake sandwiches. We visited the park this morning to try it out.
You can find this product at the Drinkwallah where we purchased it, as well as Pongu Pongu, Trek Snacks, and some outdoor vendors.
Stuffed Pancake Sandwich – $8.99
With sausage, guava paste, eggs and cheese
I was hesitant to see the advertising image for this sandwich, but I tried it anyway.
The pancake bread portion of this sandwich is very dry, so be prepared to take sips of water or other beverages during your meal.
As for what’s inside the sandwich, there’s sausage on the bottom of the bun, and on top of that there’s plenty of egg, which gives it a nice kick of spice.
The guava paste with cheese in the middle has a subtle flavor. It only contains a small amount, so it’s okay unless you’re a big fan of guava. On the other hand, if you really want to enjoy the taste of guava, don’t expect too much from this sandwich.
We will not return to this and do not recommend it. Head over to Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery to try a new breakfast alternative.
