When Anasuya Bharadwaj fell in love with movies again

Pushpa 2 actress says she is excited to be a part of such a memorable film.

After four theatrical releases – ‘Michael’, ‘Rangamartanda’, ‘Vimaanam’ and ‘Pedda Kapu 1’, Anasuya Bharadwaj will next be seen in the digital film ‘Prema Vimanam’. The Santosh Katha directorial is gearing up for its OTT premiere on ZEE5 on October 13. At a special screening organized by the makers, Pushpa 2 actress Santosh Katha expressed her joy to be a part of her film.

“There is no tension in Prema Vimanam. Director Santosh Katha was always confident about what he was making. Be it him or the production team at Abhishek Pictures, I I was always very well received on the sets. I would like to thank the team for choosing me to play the role of Santa, the mother of two beautiful children (played by Anirudh Nama and Devansh Nama).” Anasuya said.

While watching ‘Prema Vimanam’ with a select audience in Hyderabad, the actress said she fell in love with cinema again. “Even after appearing in so many films, today I got to experience the power of media. It turned out exactly as I had imagined it,” she said during the 2020 lockdown. When I heard the script, I was immediately hooked.

Anasuya said that in most of the films he has been offered so far, there is often little connection between the script and the direction. “Sometimes it’s for the better and sometimes it’s the other way around. I’m excited that nothing has changed regarding Prema Vimanam.” Prema Vimanam was shot dead in 12 villages. “Being with the kids made us feel like family and we enjoyed the process.”

Sangeeth Shobhan, Saanve Meghana and Venela Kishore are playing other important roles in the film bankrolled by Abhishek Nama under Abhishek Pictures. Anup Rubens will be composing the music and Jagadeesh Cheekati will be the cinematographer. The editor is Amar Reddy Kudumula. Two of his songs from the web film, Ajanaka Bajanaka and Dorasani, have already been released.
