“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” is Marylanders’ most heartfelt favorite, according to television provider Dish Network.
Residents of the Old Line State will find comfort in joining Charlie, Snoopy, Sally, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts friends as they await the hopeful arrival of the Great Pumpkin. This Halloween classic is something cute to share with the family, and it’s definitely better than rock.
Dish Network determined the most popular Halloween children’s movies in each state based on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb listings, keyword searches, and Google searches.
“The Great Pumpkin” was the most popular movie in a total of five states. In addition to Maryland, it was also popular with residents of Connecticut, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
However, “Ghostbusters” is the most searched Halloween children’s movie in multiple states. The 1984 version made him popular in 14 states.
Eight states named “Scooby-Doo” their favorite, earning it the No. 2 spot in the nation. In 2022, it was the #1 most searched Halloween children’s movie.
In third place was the creepy, creepy, mysterious and spooky “The Addams Family.” The film was the most searched for in his seven states.
“It’s a Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” was tied for fourth place with “E.T.” and was the most popular in five states each.
