Web series ‘Classfull’ touted as tribute to teachers
Starring actors Gautam Lord and Rohitashv Guru web series The title ‘Classfull’ is touted as an homage to the unsung heroes of society: teachers. Directed by Shubham Sinha and written and produced by Kundan Kumar Thakur under the KunRa Cinema banner, the series will go on floors from mid-October. The film also stars Pavni Mehrotra, Hari Dubey, Anshu Kumar and Satvik Sinha in important roles.
The five-episode series chronicles the story of a passionate and dedicated young teacher from Delhi and his innovative teaching style in an underdeveloped government school in a village in Uttar Pradesh.
Director Shubham Sinha expressed his excitement and said that it is always a thrill to work with experienced and famous actors who are loved by all like Gautam Rode and Rohitsav. ‘Classfull’ is a wonderful work by Kundan Kumar who wants to share the motivation of education to every child of India. In this series, Gautam Rode plays the role of Vijay, who is a role model for all the youth of India. He has a huge responsibility to educate people about their responsibilities towards India’s rural education system. On the other hand, Lord Rohitsav represents rural India, where people are not very serious about education and consider it a headache after getting a government job.
Writer Kundan Kumar Thakur, who is producing the series with his production company KunRa Cinema, talks about how the whole idea came about. He said the concept for Classful was born out of a strong desire to tell stories that celebrate the potential of rural education systems and the incredible impact passionate educators have on the lives of young people. It is said that It was born out of the belief that all children, regardless of their background, have the right to the opportunity to receive a quality education. “Classful” is an emotional rollercoaster that will make you laugh, cry, and ultimately leave you with a renewed sense of optimism and faith in the power of education to improve your life.
He added that audiences can look forward to a heartwarming and emotional journey that highlights the vast differences between urban and rural education systems, while highlighting universal values such as empathy, dedication and a desire to learn.
