Originally slated to air last year, Panchayat Season 3 has faced delays, leaving fans wondering when it will finally premiere. While there were rumors of a January debut earlier this year, audiences had to be patient as the release was pushed back yet again.

Panchayat 3 postponed to December 2024?

According to a recent update by The Statesman, fans can now look forward to the much-awaited return of Panchayat Season 3 in the first week of December 2024, giving them something to look forward to.

Panchayat 3 was one of the most anticipated web series of 2024. The show is about a city-educated engineer who doesn’t know much about rural life. After completing his studies, he gets a low-wage job as a secretary in a gram panchayat (local village council) in the remote village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh.

The series was shot in an authentic panchayat office located in the village of Mahodia, located in the Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. Sehore is about 40 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, and Mahodia is about 10 km from the district headquarters of Sehore. The series’ soundtrack and score were composed by Anurag Saikia, while cinematography and editing duties were handled by Amitabh Singh and Amit Kulkarni, respectively. The series marks Mishra’s first full-fledged venture into direction, after previously directing the second seasons of Housemates and the comedy Sheni.
