During the promotions of AR Murugadoss’ film Durbar, the legendary actor expressed his desire to work in a Marathi film. He said that although he speaks Marathi at home, their Marathi is a little different from what is normally spoken in Mumbai. He also said that he was supposed to act in a Marathi film at one point, but things didn’t work out for him. He added that he still wants to work in it.
The veteran actor also revealed that he would like to play a transgender character. He has appeared in over 160 films in 45 years, exploring every genre, but revealed that he has not appeared in a transgender role. He also said that no one had ever offered him such a role.
