Unfortunately, one guest learned, rather unpleasantly, that guests who don’t know the theme park rules must face the consequences of their choices, costing them embarrassing moments and stories that will last a lifetime. .
Instagram user @joys_world_101 recently shared her experience during and after being escorted by Disney security cast members minutes after entering Epcot. That’s because one of the people with her recorded her repeatedly saying that she had to walk past “Disney police” and that she was “in trouble.”
The video may confuse many people, but those in the know will quickly understand why the guests were escorted away. No, it wasn’t because “she wasn’t wearing anything under her,” as the person who recorded her said. But the poor unfortunate soul was forced to take off her costume.
In a follow-up video, the guest detailed that she had trouble getting her ticket scanned when entering the park, and that a cast member asked her to wait once she could scan it. She thought another cast member had been called in to help arrange tickets, but “I quickly realized I was very mistaken,” the park user commented.
The guest stated that a cast member asked her age and she said she was 20, then she was asked if she had a change of clothes. “Of course I didn’t! Why would I need to bring an extra change of clothes to Disney?” the upset guest continued, explaining that guests over a certain age are then allowed to wear costumes to the parks. commented that she was informed that was not allowed, but she clearly did not know that.

She attended Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party the night before, watched guests of all ages wear costumes, and wore a Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired costume to Epcot. I also excused myself by saying I thought it was okay. The next day, we’ll be sure to ride one of EPCOT’s newest attractions, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Her Rewind.
Unfortunately, as stated by the person who filmed the original video, this incident caused the group to missed the reservation. It was a costume she had to buy after Disney World changed its policy on her following abusive trends on TikTok.
Although this unlucky park-goer didn’t reveal details about his experience, he did note that unless you have a ticket to an exclusive adult-admission event, you don’t need to pack a costume for your next trip to Disney World. Guests likely received countless comments from the Disney community, many of which were likely from passionate “Disney adults,” reflecting on the incident and commenting on whether it was kind or polite. Or not, I let her know that adults are not allowed to wear costumes when visiting Walt. She posted comments in all three videos about her experiences at Disney World Resort’s four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Epcot). I turned it off. However, this is purely speculation.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is expensive, but guests of all ages enjoy Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and more. Star Warsor any other scary and fun ideas they may have, Magic Kingdom, and all Orlando-based Disney parks allow guests ages 14 and older to wear costumes during regular business hours. I have not.
Before visiting Orlando Disney Resort, it is important for guests to know the rules and regulations of Disney World. Because not following the rules can result in unpleasant interactions with Disney security and the guest being kicked out, as was the case with this unlucky guest. You may be banned from the park, permanently banned, or even arrested. Click here for more information on Walt Disney World Resort rules and regulations.
