Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s latest film “Mr And Mrs Mahi” had a strong run on Saturday, raking in around Rs 460 crore net at the box office. The film continued its momentum on Sunday as well, clocking a decent opening weekend.
According to Sakhnirk, Mr and Mrs Mahi has collected Rs 550 crore on its third day with an overall attendance of 23.14 percent, taking the film’s opening weekend total collection to Rs 16.85 crore, signalling a strong start at the box office.
Janhvi plays the role of Mahima, an innocent girl who listens to everyone. Rajkumar plays the role of Mahendra, a failed cricketer. Janhvi and Rajkumar also worked together in the 2021 film “Roohi”.
“Mr and Mrs Mahi” is directed by Sharan Sharma, who is known for his directorial debut “Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl”. “Mr and Mrs Mahi” marks Janhvi’s second collaboration with Sharan. The film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
