In an earlier interview, creator Manzoor, who drew on her own experience with the show, said that the new season will delve deeper into the inner lives of all the women on the show. “Each of them faces new, existential challenges with all the silliness, slyness and banter of the first season,” he explained.
Tasked with creating more original music for the show, the director continued, “The music is also bigger – wilder original tunes (written by me and my brothers) and dare I say it, even better covers.”
All six episodes of the first season We are Lady Parts Available to stream on Peacock and Channel 4 in the UK. The show is produced by Working Title Television (WTTV), which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of the Universal Studio Group.
