Sharvari had always wanted to do a dance number, ever since she dreamed of becoming a Hindi film actress.

Mumbai, May 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) “Munjya” actress Sharvari says she always wanted to perform a big dance number ever since she dreamed of becoming an actress in Hindi films.

Sharvari, who released her latest song “Taras” from the film on Monday, said, “Ever since I knew I wanted to be a leading actress in Hindi films, a big dance number is something I always wanted to do! Dance has always fascinated me.”

“I have always been fascinated by the leading ladies of Hindi cinema and the intergenerational dancers who perform the hit songs that have been danced to by an entire nation.”

The actress added that films are show business and song and dance numbers are an important tool in deciding whether people will watch a film or not.

“Time and again these party tracks have given recognition and acknowledgment to the actors who gave the best performances among them!”

“The only reason famous actors and dance idols get big dance numbers is because they have the power to capture people’s interest and popularity,” she added.

Munja, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and scheduled to be released on June 7, revolves around a mythological character named Munja, who is rooted in Indian beliefs and cultural systems.

The film also stars Abhay Varma and Sathyaraj.

Though Sharvari has only done one film so far, she said she is happy that producer Dinesh Vijan has shown such faith in her.

“It’s such an honor that I get to do that and have a hit dance anthem to my credit! Filming Taras was fun throughout.”

Sharvari hopes that “Taras” will be a huge hit and that everyone will be able to dance to it in clubs, parties and all other occasions.

“For me, it’s a big encouragement to have a hit song released so early in my career. It shows that the industry has faith in me and is supporting me. It’s a really gratifying feeling,” she said.
