A growing number of K-pop singers are lending their voices to Hollywood movie songs, seeking to reach a wider audience around the world.
On April 4, girl group aespa unveiled “Die Trying,” a tune for the soundtrack of Netflix’s epic space opera film, “Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.” The quartet has teamed up with American-Korean producer DJ TOKiMONSTA to release a song featuring one of the film’s main characters, Nemesis – a cyborg sword master played by Korean actress Bae Doo-na.

“Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scargiver” is the sequel to the 2023 film “Rebel Moon – Part 1: Child of Fire”.
