Peter Dinklage to voice Dr. Dillmond the Goat

Universal Pictures evil I found her goat. Peter Dinklage is set to voice the character of Dr. Dillmond in the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical.

The news was revealed Wednesday afternoon in Las Vegas as Universal wrapped up its CinemaCon presentation by sharing new footage of evil, which will be in theaters during Thanksgiving this year. Universal and director Jon M. Chu will helm the film in two parts, with the second part scheduled to open over the weekend in 2025.

evil – The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz – Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba, a young woman who is misunderstood because of her unusual green skin and who has yet to discover her true powers. Ariana Grande plays Glenda, a popular young woman of privilege and ambition who has yet to discover her true heart. After meeting as young women, their extraordinary adventures eventually lead them to fulfill their destinies as the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Glinda, respectively.

In the feature film adaptation, Dr. Delamond, a goat, is a history professor at Shi’s University who warns Elphaba of rising dark forces that threaten the talking animals of Oz, including himself.
