Imran Abbas reveals he turned down major Bollywood offers including ‘Aashiqui 2’ and ‘PK’

New Delhi: During his recent appearance on Nida Yasir’s show ‘Shan-e-Suhoor’, Pakistani actor Imran Abbas shocked the internet by opening up about turning down major projects in Bollywood. The actor revealed that even though he was offered an important role in a big-budget movie, he decided to turn it down.

Among the notable projects that Imran Abbas revealed he turned down was Mohit Suri’s 2013 romantic drama Aashiqui 2, in which he was offered the lead role. He said, “People keep asking me how can I say no to Aashiqui 2 and Ram Leela.”

Additionally, Abbas revealed that he was offered a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series ‘Heeramandi’ but the project was eventually shelved. Further, he revealed that he is being considered for the role of Aditya Roy Kapur in ‘Guzzarish’.

Despite these important offers, Abbas clarified that the only official offer he has received is ‘Aashiqui 2’. He said, “Aashiqui 2 sabse bada project tha. Ab toh har koi ke raha hota hai ki mujhe bhi asi kui offer hui. Aap Mahesh Bhatt stars in Love Me, Jake Pooch Ligier, the only official offer from director Mohit Suri and producer.
