Alia Bhatt plays Shah Rukh Khan’s disciple in spy film
Alia Bhatt has been at the top of her game over the last few years with one hit after another with Darlings, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Rocky Oru Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. She recently completed her next film ‘Zigra’ directed by Vasan Bala and produced by her and Karan Johar. She will co-star in Love and War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. But amid all this, she got one of the biggest movies in her career and that is her spy movie for Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe.
To date, ‘Pasaan’ has been the most successful film in the spy universe, grossing over Rs 500 crore at the box office and currently the third biggest hit in Indian cinema after ‘Jawan’ and ‘Animal’. And there are hints that the makers are trying to connect Alia’s film with SRK’s Pasaan.
According to a report in Bollywood Life, one of the many possibilities the scriptwriters are working on is portraying Alia Bhatt as Shah Rukh Khan’s protégé in the film. It is suggested that she is part of a team called JOCR. The first part is written by Dimple Kapadia. The report also suggests that SRK might make a cameo appearance in the film.
It was reported a few days ago that Pattern 2 is scheduled to be constructed by the end of 2024.
