OTT streaming service Netflix’s top 10 list is out and fans of Indian comedian actor Kapil Sharma are happy to know that his show The Great Indian Kapil Show is the only Indian series to make it to the top. Check out the full list below.
Netflix Top 10: Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show ranks No. 3 on OTT Giant’s Global List
Kapil Sharma Fans, rejoice! The Indian actor-turned-comedian star has a lot to be happy about, as in his recently released TV series The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix made the OTT giant’s top 10 global list of TV shows in the non-English category. He went to the first place Queen of Tears: Limited Seriesand took the second place Physique: The 100: Season 2. The Great Indian Kapil Show is in third place.
Other non-English shows to make the top 10 list are: Bandidos: Season 1 (4th), Reign of Iron: Season 1 (5th), SPY x FAMILY: Season 1 (6th), Between Lands: Season 1 (7th), Furies: Season 1 (8th), My Hero Academia: Season 1 (9th) and Signal: Limited Series (I 10).
However, it’s worth noting that there were no other movies or TV shows from India on Nertflix’s top 10 list this month.
According to the show’s IMDb page, The Great Indian Kapil Show is “Comedian Kapil Sharma hosts this laugh-out-loud variety talk show with celebrity guests, hilarious antics and his signature supporting cast.”
In the first episode, Kapil Sharma hosts the Kapoor family along with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahan. Even though Alia Bhatt is absent, the episode promises laughs. It is outstanding Sunil GroverComing back after her split with Kapil years ago. With a talented cast including Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, the show guarantees a fun-filled experience every week.
