Prithviraj Sukumaran comes before audiences with his ambitious magnum opus, The Goat Life, which has been in the works for 16 long years. In an exclusive conversation with OTTplay, the actor spoke about the film he has been waiting for for 16 years. The actor was quick to add that exciting things rarely happen and he accepts that. But more than that, nothing is more exciting than him quitting his job in the Malayalam industry to come here. Prithviraj made his Hindi debut with ‘Aiyyaa’ and later acted in Hindi films like ‘Naam Shabana’ and ‘Selfiee’.

How it took him so long to find scripts like ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ (starring Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar as antagonists) and ‘Sarzameen’ (co-starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Kajol) Regarding this, Prithviraj Sukumaran said: At least until Sarzameen co-starred with Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, he never made a cameo appearance in the film Naam Shabana in between. Don’t get me wrong, I have read many scripts written in Hindi and many filmmakers have approached me. But I have never read a book that made me want to quit what I was doing in Malayalam and come here and do films. One, because what I read wasn’t that exciting, and two, because what was happening there wasn’t that exciting. Because Malayalam cinema is going through one of the greatest phases. ”

The actor also added that it is no longer an aspiration to act in a Hindi film or try any other films.
