Warner Bros., Rian Johnson’s T-Street Ink two-film deal
Rian Johnson is headed to Warner Bros. territory.
The director’s T-Street label, which he runs with production partner Ram Bergman, has signed a two-film production deal with Warners, the studio announced Monday. It’s the latest in a string of deals Warners has made with top talent as it shores up its relationships across Hollywood, even as it has earned some reputation in some creative corners for holding off on several films. In recent months, Tom Cruise, Margot Robbie and Ryan Coogler have all signed deals with the studio.
As a director, Johnson is known for his amazing features such as And beara big-budget genre entry Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the original Who Dunnit film series Take out the kniveswhich included a sequel Glass onions And the upcoming third part, which he aims to film later this year for Netflix. Johnson and Bergman’s work together dates back to Johnson’s directorial debut, Brickwhich put the director on the map as a rising talent in 2005.
As producers, T-Street is behind the Netflix feature fair play And American fantasy, for which filmmaker Cord Jefferson won an Academy Award for Adapted Screenplay last week. On the TV side, they have a high-end version of Netflix 3- Body problem Arriving March 21, it’s behind Peacock’s Emmy-nominated detective show poker face.

The deal will mark Johnson and Bergman’s first work with Warner.
