For the Hansal web series, Sameer Nair and Applause Entertainment have acquired the rights to two of the most definitive books on Mahatma Gandhi by renowned historian Ramachandra Guha: Gandhi to India and Gandhi: The Years That Changed the World.
From his early days to his actions in South Africa and the Great Indian Struggle, the series tells the lesser-known stories of his life that played an important role in shaping the young Gandhi as a Mahatma. He also narrates the stories of all his countrymen and contemporaries of the freedom movement, incredible individuals who played an integral role with him in shaping a free and modern India.
