The lively, interactive format will allow participants to experiment and try new things during each webinar, says Od Vatrello, assistant professor and specialist in oenology (enology) at Iowa State University.
Waterlot said participants must have basic equipment to complete the tasks involved. Some supplies will be shipped to participants in advance.
The goal of the workshops is to provide knowledge and tools that can be applied to wineries in Iowa and beyond.
Presenters will be Vatrelot, in addition to Alex Gapinski, a wine scientist with a master’s degree in food science and technology from Iowa State University.
