Chicken Nugget Review
After the first viewing of the drama series, the audience registered a strongly positive and enthusiastic response to the new Netflix project. With a short run and fewer episodes, the Ryu Seung Ryong starrer drama is a worthy watch recommendation for all those who are worried about longer seasons. What’s more, with all episodes dropping on the same day, it offers an even more accessible and fast viewing experience.

One of the most common points of the series is that viewers have had their time with this new experience, essentially giving way to a “short fun silly little frivolous drama”. K-drama hints throughout the show. The characters are seen making up his 2019 series Be Melodramatic. Some scenes turn into parodies of Western content like Game of Thrones and Interstellar. Whimsical references to BTS’ music lighten the mood, while Cha Eun Woo’s name drops amidst all the comical mayhem hits the funny bone.
Although Kim Yoo Jung went for an extended cameo role in the series, his relationship with Ryu Seong Ryeong’s character enhances the father-son dynamic. As always, the star of My Demon stole the spotlight as a visual delight. However, in the end, Ryu Seung Ryeong’s on-screen partnership with Ahn Jae Hong took the cake. Their ridiculously fun crossing paths has already had fans rooting for trophies during awards season. Ryu Seung Ryeong’s return to the paternal domain with his similar role in the Disney+ action series Moving reminded fans of his underrated brilliance.
Although the series was mainly billed as a comedy rollercoaster that instantly won over the audience, its emotional edges left an equal impression. All technical and convoluted criticisms aside, the light and frivolous watch definitely makes for a stress-busting watch this weekend. The A-list cameos throughout the journey have largely been echoes of the director’s previous work, which has become an equally engaging topic of online discussion.
