This week saw a lot of exciting releases to watch out for – from the murder mystery Mubarak to the political drama Main Atal Hoon starring Pankaj Tripathi as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Assassination of Mubarak, Netflix
A whodunit could make for a thrilling watch this weekend. It boasts an ensemble cast that includes Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karima Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Suhail Nayyar. When a crime is committed at the Royal Delhi Club, the police are informed and ACP Bhavani Singh, played by Pankaj Tripathi, starts an investigation.
HanuMan, Zee5
Fans who have been eagerly waiting for the release of the Teja Sajja starrer can finally watch the film on Zee5. The Prasanth Varma directorial was supposed to release last week but got delayed. Even he has X post a clarification on the same. HanuMan tells the story of a young man named Hanumanthu (Teja) who gains superpowers after meeting a totem in his village. A sequel titled Jai Hanuman is also in the works.

Home Atal Hoon, Zee5
Major Atal Hoon is a biopic on Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was awarded the country’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna. Directed by Ravi Jadhav, the film stars Pankaj Tripathi in the title role.

Carry On Jatta 3, Disney plus Hotstar
Carry On Jatta 3 is directed by Smeep Kang. It stars Gippy Grewal, Sonam Bajwa, Binnu Dhillon, Jaswinder Bhalla and Gurpreet Gugu. The Hindi dubbed version of the Punjabi comedy is now available on Disney plus Hotstar. The first part starred actress Mahi Gill as the female lead along with Jeep. The entire shooting of the film took place in Jalandhar, Punjab.
Brahmayugam, SonyLIV
Rahul Sadavisan’s Malayalam dark fantasy horror thriller shocked many upon its release, while Mammootty’s no-holds-barred performance won unanimous praise. Co-produced by Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios, the film also stars Arjun Ashokan, Siddharth Bharathan and Manikandan R. Achar.

Big Girls Don’t Cry, Premier Video
The seven-episode show is set in a girls boarding school in a hill town called Vandana Valley Girls School. Created by Nitya Mehra and directed by Karan Kapadia, Sudanshu Saria and Kopal Naitan, the show revolves around all the female inmates of the school and how their dynamics change as they deal with insecurities, heartbreak, jealousy and love.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 20, Disney+ Hotstar
Ellen Pompeo returns for a season that picks up right where the season 19 finale left off. But her Meredith Gray will not be a series regular. But returning stars include Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Kim Raver as Teddy Altman, Caterina Scorsone as Amelia Shepherd and Camilla Ludington as Joe Wilson. More interns join, but from now on it’s rarely going to be a smooth ride for them.
