Taylor Swift’s Hollywood Sign Performance ‘Eras Tour’ Canceled: Report
Los Angeles – to update: Disney+ says Taylor Swift will not be present or performing Wednesday during filming.
There are millions of Swifties all over the world, but some Griffith Park residents seemed to lack enthusiasm for photographing the megastar in their neighborhood.
Residents living near the Hollywood sign have been notified that a big photo shoot is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13. TMZ reported that the notice from FilmLA indicates they will be filming a “Disney Plus + TS” movie (presumably Taylor Swift) from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
For the project, FilmLA informed residents of a preparation day and a post-production day was required from daylight to a few hours after sunset. TMZ reported that residents were disturbed by all the noise and that all the equipment was disturbing to look at.
As you may recall, The Grove was closed for the premiere of its “Eras Tour” last October.

By Tuesday afternoon, TMZ provided an update on the “empty space” that certainly pleased unhappy residents.

Just before noon, Disney confirmed that Taylor Swift would not be attending the photo shoot. Nearly an hour later, FilmLA told TMZ they’ve pulled the plug on the whole matter and, therefore, crews will begin clearing the area.
It’s not clear why the shoot was canceled, but it’s likely that Swift is just “shaking it out,” as this probably won’t have any financial impact on the billionaire.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Edition) premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, March 14.
