Neha Dhupia’s Japan Project
Neha Dhupia’s impressive filmography also includes Japanese films. Many people may not know that she produced an Indian-Japanese film called “Ninja Dance!”. She played the role of Mina in the 2000 Ninja Legend. This special project happened almost two years before she won the Miss India pageant. In her interview, Ms. Neha talked about her experience working in a foreign country and how great it was to travel to different countries in her young 20s. Although she did not remember the name of the movie, Neha recalled her unforgettable experience where she met interesting people.

“I don’t remember the title yet, but I mean, it’s been a very long time, but it was like a project in India and Japan, and the best part was that I got to work with interesting people, but more than that, I got to travel. It’s great to be able to go to different countries in your 20s,” Neha told ETimes.

Neha Dhupia’s challenging career
It comes as a surprise to many that Neha Dhupia started her career as an actress with the play ‘Graffiti’ and later appeared in the music album ‘Euphoria’. Thereafter, she was crowned Miss India in 2002. Neha made her debut in Bollywood with the 2003 film Qayamat: The City Under Threat. However, her breakthrough performance came in the role titled Julie.

In the same conversation, Neha Dhupia said that she is looking forward to returning to Telugu films. Dhupia also spoke candidly about his extended leave from work and attributed it to motherhood and COVID-19.
