Taapsee Pannu is known for her unique roles and outspoken personality. Recently, the 36-year-old star opened up about the challenges she faced in Bollywood due to her personal choices. In an interview, Taapsee said how difficult it was for her to join the inner A-list circle in show business as she usually prefers to avoid late-night parties. . This is her one reason why she could not easily get her major production contract and had to choose her difficult path.

Actress Chashmi Badoa also dropped a truth bomb on the Bollywood camp, sharing insights on nepotism and how it helps in accessing the inner circle. However, she confessed that she would rather take the difficult route of shooting a movie than the easy route of partying and camping.

The reality of bollywood camps and nepotism

“The Bollywood camp is there. The nepotism debate we’re talking about is a matter of getting access. If a big-budget movie is being made, I don’t think I’m right for the role. No one will disrespect me for saying that, but my name won’t be featured in the same way as the other actors in the camp, so I might not get the role. I recommend it. The harsh reality is that big movies are about access and I don’t have the access to get into that room,” Taapsee said over Zoom.

The Haseen Dilruba star then pointed out that late-night parties are the key to accessing the camp, as socializing helps make connections and land roles. However, she avoids attending such events as she finds them “tiring”.
