In an interview with Mid Day, Katrina said she wanted to portray herself in a new way. She revealed that the reason is that in certain scenarios she feels bored with herself and she doesn’t want to repeat herself any more.
According to her, if she feels bored with herself, she’s sure the audience must feel bored too. She added that if she repeats the same thing, she will feel the same way about them.
Elaborating further, she added that it’s not because she tries to predict the future, but because she’s true and honest with herself. The actress added that in certain spaces she asked herself, “Am I feeling joy in this moment?” Do I feel alive here? Is there anything I can give you here? ” Something new that you give to yourself as an experience, and something new to the film in that space.
The actress said she loves the action genre, especially female-centric action films. She added that the backstory given to her own character Zoya added her interesting side to her.
